Looking for: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in an outpatient setting. Providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. EMDR trained by an EMDRIA approved trainer required. Experience working with military individuals and families a plus. Gottman trained a plus. Applicants need to be: Continually interested in learning more about the field and the art of working with people. Interested in the body and mind as one system and how nutrition, exercise, and environment impact mental health. Knowledgeable about the role trauma plays on the body and mind and how different modalities are able to help people heal. Understanding that all people deserve respect and are on a journey of healing. Being a team player and willing to collaborate with colleagues for a common goal. Be a hard worker who is invested in seeing 20+ clients per week.
Qualification requirements: Masters or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or MFT. Current and active license as an LPC, MFT, MSW, or PsyD. Responsibilities: Provide quality in-person and telehealth counseling to individuals, couples, and families. Maintain a current and active license and follow all the laws and ethics of the profession. Be respectful and courteous to colleagues and clients alike. Able to maintain a clean, neat work environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. This will include responding to email and phone communication within 24 hours. Able to stay current with paperwork, including case notes and correspondence. This will include finishing case notes the same week the session is completed. Other duties as assigned.
